Week one saw everyone getting ready for IEM’s. It was very busy because we were preparing for IEM’s and it was also the kick off for the big projects and starting new modules. In week 2, everyone will be choosing what they want to do for this term regarding big projects.
We welcomed a new student into the community, Tony, who is enjoying being in Danielle’s hub. This week the Taheretikitiki community is kicking off the cycling safety event to learn bike safety for when on the road. We are also starting our #hobbyhabitschallenge focusing on one of our Hobsonville Habits per week.

Taheretikitiki students working together to shape their learning
This week, our students are embarking on providing feedback to our Specialist Learning Leaders around the modules that they would see offered next term around the concept of "Citizenship". Our students got into groups with a representative from each hub leading a discussion around what citizenship means to them, what this could look like in each module. The hub reps will meet with Kylee later in the week to share their thinking/ideas.
